Trinity Western is a place where you’ll dig deeper into your potential, uncovering the person God intends you to be. It’s an experience that, for students like Liz, provides more than just an education:
“A colleague recommended Trinity Western to me because they’re geared toward maximizing students’ potential in their professional, academic, and personal lives. Before applying, I had looked at various other programs in my field at different graduate schools. Ultimately I chose TWU because of a conversation I had with an incredible woman who is now my professor, thesis supervisor and mentor.
In the midst of an intensive program, I’ve been able to maintain other aspects of my life. I’m working three part-time jobs. Beyond navigating them and my school schedule, it’s a priority for me to stay invested in my community and be involved in the lives of friends and family. I do this intentionally and find that, with careful time management and a commitment to staying connected to my values, this is possible.
It’s nuts sometimes and, now, coming up to the end of my first year, I am exhausted. A good kind of exhausted. I’m pleased to look back and recognize I received the highest quality of training, education, and clinical practice in my field. I’ve grown exponentially, received an incredible amount of support from my professors and peers.”
Whether you see yourself providing care in a third-world hospital, working through legislation to end human trafficking, educating future generations, or bringing meaning to the marketplace, your time at TWU will prepare you to recognize and respond to the needs in your world.
